An RSN online distance learning class is not equivalent to the RSN Certificate & Diploma in Technical Hand Embroidery (C&D), which necessitates a minimum of eight days Tutor contact and includes the design process through to mounting of the work which are assessed together with the hand embroidery. If you wish to learn more about the RSN C&D course please click here. Each RSN distance learning class is the equivalent of an RSN Embroidery Class where the design is supplied and no mounting is taught.
Each of the courses has been designed as a one-to-one lesson, allowing you to view it closely on your own screen and go back and forward through the lesson content, working on each section at your own pace. For this reason, courses are only available on an individual basis at this time.
You can share your work with other students by posting into the Gallery. Only JPEGs can be posted into the gallery, with a maximum size of 1000 x 1000 pixels.
The Discussion Board is a place to connect with other students in the course community, where you can ask and answer questions about the course content, share insights and success stories with others. Please note that tutors will not be available in course discussion threads. The Discussion Board will be moderated by Customer Services staff and misuse of the board such as inappropriate or abusive comments will result in offending participants being removed from the course.
